MOURNING OF KIN

‘Mourning of Kin’ is a collection of 18 works exploring the emotional transitions from grief to acceptance in the face of trauma.

Drawing from personal and observed experiences, as well as the influence of German artist Käthe Kollwitz and writing by Haruki Murakami, this latest series of paintings reflects the complexities of the human condition amidst the backdrop of current global events.

“In the garden of healing, amidst the thorns of grief,

the seeds of hope take root, slowly blossoming into the flowers of resilience”

- Haruki Murakami
